  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup for decoration

Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Baking Pan

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 15×10-inch baking pan to ensure that the cake doesn’t stick.

Step 2: Mixing the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a bowl, mix together:

    • Flour
    • Cocoa powder
    • Baking powder
    • Salt

Step 3: Preparing the Wet Ingredients

  1. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.

Step 4: Combining the Mixtures

  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mixing until the batter is smooth.

Step 5: Baking the Cake

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding.

Step 6: Preparing the Whipped Cream

  1. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until it becomes fluffy.

Step 7: Assembling the Cake

  1. Spread the whipped cream evenly across the cooled cake.
  2. Carefully roll the cake into a tight log.

Step 8: Decoration

  1. Place the rolled cake on a serving platter.
  2. Drizzle with chocolate syrup for a beautiful finish.
