How to Make Oven Roasted Oat Apple Snack Recipe
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core and thinly slice 2 medium apples until each piece is about ¼-inch thick. Toss them with honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt.
- In a bowl, mix 1 cup rolled oats with melted butter or coconut oil. Sprinkle vanilla extract, then spread on a baking sheet. Toast until oats are lightly golden, about 10 minutes.
- Gently layer sliced apples and toasted oats on the sheet. Drizzle extra honey over top, then roast at 350°F for 15 minutes until apples are tender and edges caramelize.
- Let the snack rest for 5 minutes before serving warm or chilled, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
