  • 2 fillets Salmon fresh, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons Honey natural sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce savory depth
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil neutral oil for searing
For the Sesame Spinach
  • 4 cups Fresh spinach baby spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil for nutty aroma
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted sesame seeds for crunch
  • 1 pinch Salt to enhance flavor

Method
 

For the Glaze & Salmon
  1. In a small bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth and glossy, about 30 seconds.
  2. Warm 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  3. Place seasoned fillets skin-side down; cook 3–4 minutes until edges turn golden brown and crisp.
  4. Pour honey-soy mix over fish, reduce heat to medium, and spoon glaze onto fillets for another 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer salmon to a plate and let rest 2 minutes so the glaze sets into a glossy finish.
For the Sesame Spinach
  1. Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in another skillet over medium heat; add fresh spinach and toss until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over greens, season lightly with salt, and toss for 30 seconds until fragrant.
