Preparation Steps
- Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, stir melted butter, honey, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet batter into the dry ingredients, stirring until moistened.
- Transfer dough into the prepared pan, pressing evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until edges turn golden brown and center is set.
- Let bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack, then lift by the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
