Instructions
1. Bake the Cake
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before proceeding to the next step.
2. Crumble the Cake
- Once the cake is cool, crumble it into a large bowl. Make sure the crumbs are fine and even.
3. Mix with Frosting
- Add frosting to the crumbled cake.
- Mix until the combination holds together and forms a dough-like consistency.
4. Shape into Balls
- Roll the mixture into small balls, approximately the size of a golf ball.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet.
- Freeze for 30 minutes to ensure they hold their shape when dipped.
5. Melt Candy
- Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Follow the package instructions for melting to ensure a smooth consistency.
6. Dip & Insert Sticks
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy.
- Insert the stick into a cake ball.
- Dip the entire cake pop into the melted candy to coat it completely.
7. Decorate
- Add sprinkles to the cake pops before the candy coating sets.
- Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or a cup to cool completely.
