Instructions
- Flatten the Bread:
Take each slice of whole wheat bread and use a rolling pin to flatten them. This will make it easier to roll the sausage inside. - Roll the Sausages:
Place a cooked sausage link on one end of each slice of bread. Roll the bread around the sausage tightly to form a roll-up. - Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined. - Dip the Roll-Ups:
Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring that they are coated thoroughly. - Cook the Roll-Ups:
Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet. Cook until each side is golden brown, which should take about 3-4 minutes per side. - Serve:
