Ham and Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

  • 3 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stir in the diced ham and half of the shredded cheese into the mixture.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the ham mixture evenly across the bottom.
  5. Top the mixture with frozen tater tots, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the tater tots for a cheesy finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve hot.
