Scale
Creating your own fruit popsicles is a breeze when you have the right ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- 2 cups of fresh fruit: Choose from strawberries, bananas, or mangoes for a vibrant and refreshing flavor.
- 1 cup of yogurt or coconut milk: This adds a creamy texture to your popsicles.
- 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (optional): For those who prefer a sweeter taste.
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice: This enhances the natural flavors of the fruit and adds a hint of tartness.
Instructions
Making fruit popsicles is as simple as blending, pouring, and freezing. Follow these easy steps:
- Chop the Fruit into Small Pieces
Start by washing your chosen fruits thoroughly. Chop them into small, manageable pieces. This will make blending easier and ensure a smoother texture. - Combine Ingredients in a Blender
In a blender, combine the chopped fruit, yogurt or coconut milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), and lemon juice. These ingredients together will form the base of your popsicles. - Blend Until Smooth
Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency. Make sure there are no large fruit chunks remaining for a uniform texture. - Pour the Mixture into Popsicle Molds
Carefully pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds. Leave a small gap at the top of each mold to allow for expansion as the mix freezes. - Insert Sticks and Freeze
Place a stick in each mold. Freeze the popsicles for at least 4 hours or until they are completely solid. - Release the Popsicles
To easily remove the popsicles from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. This will loosen them without melting.
