Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or mushroom sauce)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, mix the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes. This step ensures the beef is tender and flavorful. - Prepare the Pan:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant. This should take about a minute. - Cook the Beef:
Add the marinated beef to the pan. Cook until the beef is browned, which should take approximately 4-5 minutes. Stir frequently to ensure even cooking. - Add the Broccoli:
Toss in the broccoli florets and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes. The broccoli should be crisp-tender, adding a delightful crunch to the dish. - Incorporate the Sauce:
Stir in the oyster sauce (or mushroom sauce) and mix well so that all the ingredients are coated evenly. - Serve:
Once everything is cooked to perfection, serve the stir-fry over a bed of cooked rice for a complete meal.
