Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and remove any that are soft or discolored.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, and sugar. Stir well to ensure the sugar begins to dissolve.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. You will notice the cranberries starting to pop and break down, releasing their juices.
- Add the orange zest and cinnamon, mixing well to incorporate the flavors throughout the sauce.
- Let the sauce cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it until you are ready to serve.
