Instructions

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture:
    In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Cut the Bread:
    Take each slice of bread and cut it into 3 sticks. This will give you 12 sticks altogether, perfect for serving a small group.
  3. Heat the Skillet:
    Place a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter. Allow the butter to melt and coat the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Dip the Bread Sticks:
    One by one, dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well coated. Allow any excess mixture to drip off.
  5. Cook the Sticks:
    Place the coated bread sticks in the skillet. Cook them until they are golden brown on all sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your skillet.
