  • 4 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer the torn croissant pieces and mixed berries evenly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants and berries, pressing down lightly to ensure the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the croissants to soak up the mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the custard is set.
  7. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
