    • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

    • 1/2 cup pesto, store-bought or homemade

    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash or milk


Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

    1. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to ensure it doesn’t stick.

    1. Spread the pesto evenly over the entire pastry sheet, ensuring every bite is packed with flavor.

    1. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the pesto.

    1. Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter for clean edges.

    1. Twist each strip gently, holding both ends, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    1. Brush the twists with beaten egg or milk to give them a golden, glossy finish.

    1. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and puffed up beautifully.
